UMM teamed up with United Way and Shaw Industries to make a bathroom wheelchair accessible for a young lady in Dalton that was paralyzed in a car accident. A wall had to be moved, a tub removed and replaced with tile shower and a toilet and vanity relocated to make the entire area wheelchair accessible. United Way secured the funding. Shaw donated the tile. UMM supplied the labor. A big thanks to Lowell Kirkman for his time and architectural expertise.
